If you want to liven up your child’s birthday party and create a new look on the faces of those in attendance, then why not have someone do face painting? There are several designs that children can choose form, or you can ask that the painter do designs that relate to the party theme.
Stay With a Theme
If you plan to have everything from the cake to the decorations in the same theme, then ask that the face paintings follow in the same suit. This will make it easier for the children to decide what to get, and the painter will know what to expect when arriving at the party. Examples of themes that are great for face painting include princesses, super heroes and animals. Don’t forget to match and rent a Bounce House with the same Theme of your party.
Let the Kids Decide
This is a good way to have everyone get the kind of painting they want. Decide whether they can get their entire face painted or something small on a cheek. Ask the painter what designs they can do. Print a paper with these designs so that there are not any requests that won’t get fulfilled. Before the Party
It is important to let parents now there will be face painting at the party. Some children might have a reaction to the paint, and you need to know which children might experience this situation. Make sure the designs are friendly for children. You don’t want the designer to do anything scary or that is too mature for the age group. Try to keep the colors simple, and organize the painting at the beginning of the party so that the birthday child can still have time to open presents. This will also give everyone time to eat and play. Most face painters are rented by the hour, so having the event at the beginning will save you money.
